Scrap Happy
Friday evening was the monthly crop with the West Huntsville girls. This is always a fun night to spend hanging out and getting some scrapping done too. I was able to finish the Monthly Moments album that I mentioned on Friday. I had a lot of fun with this one.
Click here to see the entire album.
We are still swapping Circle Journal layouts each month. Here is the one I created for May. Amy C.’s topic was “If I had $30 million…”. This was in celebration of her 30th birthday this year and it was a fun one to do. Nothing too serious and it is good to dream big.
I just realized that I never posed my layouts from the past 2 months. So sorry about this! Where is my mind?
Amy T.’s topic for April was “Poetry For the Soul”. This one was a little out of my comfort zone because I am not a real big poetry person. Once I chose my poem, the page came together very quickly. I think it took me less than 10 minutes from start to finish with this one.
April’s topic was “Favorite Colors” and I had a lot of fun putting this one together in March. After having 2 baby boys, I rarely get to use pink on many of my layouts.
Before I left Friday for the crop, I received some happy mail from the new Scrap In Style TV website with my charter membership package. This is a new website that launched last month. It has lots of funny scrapbooking webisodes plus a fabulous gallery and message board. It really is a fun site that you should check out.

I was so excited when this box arrived Friday afternoon!
As most of you know, this 1st collection was designed by Kelli Crowe and was exclusive to Scrap In Style TV. I love this new kit and I cannot wait to start scrapping with it later this week. Still need to figure out what to do with the pink pleather fabric. Any ideas?
Check out what I received for my birthday. Yes, that is a Canon Digital Rebel XTi and a Donna Downey camera bag. My parents are too good to me! I am so excited about this thing. I have no idea how to operate it but I love it!!
I signed up for the Photography 101 class over at Big Picture Scrapbooking this morning. I am hoping it will give me some insight into how to handle the camera and learn to take better photos. Looking forward to the class.
Now it is time for the moment you have all been waiting for… the winner of this weekend’s RAK.
Congratulations!
Did you notice the bowl that we used? Yes, it was Dorothy’s bowl. We lost our family fish this weekend. So sad! We had a small family service and a burial by sea.
If you are still reading this, thanks! I am sorry for such a long post. Have a great Monday. We are headed to the grocery store and then back here for lunch, naps, and chores around the house.

I love, love the camera bag! Too cute! I haven’t seen anything like that in Arkansas. I will have to spread the word!
